The VDGIF should be contacted at (804) 367-1000 to determine the presence of threatened wildlife species within your property boundaries. Species are listed and unlisted on an ongoing basis, therefore searches will vary based on time period.

The Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation – Division of Natural Heritage maintains a listing of threatened or endangered plants on a statewide basis. The VDCR-Division of Natural Heritage should be contacted at (804) 786-7951 to determine the presence of threatened plant species within your property boundaries.
